    The Raccoon Butterfly gets its name for obvious reasons and is typically a great aquarium fish.  More than one adult can be kept in the same large tank without problems.

  • Pearlscale Butterfly

    The Pearlscale Butterfly is a moderately hardy aquarium fish that can be placed in small and large aquariums.  It tends to acclimate best in a non-aggressive environment.

    This glorious fish is one of our favorites and does great in schools.  It can be difficult to acclimate into the aquarium environment and thrives in live rock tanks.

    A majestic Red Sea endemic, the Masked Butterfly can be a bold, relatively hardy aquarium fish.  Small individuals acclimate more readily to the aquarium environment.

    The Longnose Butterfly is a hardy fish that does well in both passive and aggressive marine aquarium environments.

  • Henniochus Butterfly

    This is an easy to recognize bold species that should be provided with plenty of swimming room.  It makes a great addition to any non-aggressive community.

  • Copperband Butterfly

    This is an appealing long-nosed species that can be difficult to acclimate.  The Copperband Butterfly will act aggressively towards like species unless partnered in a male-female pair.

  • Auriga Butterfly

    Min. Aq. Size: 75 gal Max Length: 9.0 in.

    This is a bold, attractive species and one of the best butterfly fish for a home aquarium.  It is also one of the more non-aggressive members of the family.
